    Renowned Group of Oman Oman 2000 TO 3000 OMR CTC (this is a role that may require some overseas deployment in China as we are building 3 x rigs for a period of 6 months and then he will have 1 x month off when the rigs ship to Oman, followed by a stint in Oman undertaking commission   Oman - OMR

    Description:    GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Manage Support, Workshop and Hoist operations safely according to CPDS policies and procedures.
    2. Lead as arobustpositive advocate in all processes related to QHSE and company management systems.
    3. Responsible for ensuring that all QHSE matters receive priority related to the criticality of the issue and are resolved effectivelyand on time.
    4. Participates in all policy and procedure reviews to ensure they are current and meet the company’s, client’s, employee’s, and industry’s requirements.
    5. Ensure that your teams and members are well-versed in CPDS policies and procedures and meet and exceed the objectives.
    6. Work with all departments to improve QHSE awareness and effectiveness for the company.
    7. Manage all changes to equipment or processes,ensuring proper communicationsand appropriate documentation.
    8. Maintain the highest HSE standardsthrough a sound and cordial relationship with our crews, sub-contractors and clients. Appropriately implementthe complete HSE Plan.
    MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATION

    1. Work directly with hoist supervision leading, mentoring and driving internal processes that support efficient and safe operations.
    2. Ensure operational costs are continuously monitored and drive improvements in lowering operations costs while maintaining safety, equipment and operations effectiveness.
    3. Responsible for servicing and repairs to all damaged or out of service equipment.
    4. Work directly with hoist crews and support staff leading, training and motivating them to improve on-site daily maintenance and repairs of all CPDS equipment.
    5. Ensure that all equipment is regularly and adequately maintained by following the PMS, and critical spares are available to avoid any shutdown.
    6. Review all equipment on-site determine if a change of maintenance and operation methods could reduce operating costs.
    7. Improve and create new equipment maintenance processes and proper operating parameters and training of the site support and operational personnel.
    8. Ensure that all Hoists are working efficiently and effectively with onlyminimal downtime.
    9. Driverevenue levels to achieve or exceed the annual objectives in a cost balanced manner.
    10. Closely monitor mobilization and transition periods to ensure smooth operations without shutdown and achieving the maximum day rate possible.
    11. Actively participate in reviewing the lumpsum achievements and advise a course of action for improvements working directly with the crews for implementation.
    12. Ensure proper utilization of allowed maintenance hours monthly as per contract.
    13. Ensure expenses are kept under control by procuring only required items and ensuring minimum provisioning for spares and inventory (as per the provisioning policy).
    14. Compilation and distribution of all relevant daily reporting and documentation as requested by management
    15. Ensure regular contact and communications with management on all equipment conditions and repairs.
    16. Coordinate and lead all equipment inspections, ensuring completion of defined requirements, documentation within the required timeline.
    17. Conduct regular inspections and lead repairs of the hoist, associated equipment, trailers, and vehicles, including sub-contracted equipment.
    18. Ensure proper preventative maintenance on all well control equipment is adhered to and effective to ensure reliability and cost management.
    19. Conduct safety, maintenance and operational audits presenting findings and action plan to resolve any issues found.
    20. Conduct crew and support staff competency evaluations, create a gap analysis and provide training to cover the defined gaps.
